West Africa Bauxite Development
Led the end-to-end development of two greenfield bauxite mining projects in West Africa, covering the full project lifecycle from early-stage exploration to production readiness. One project represents a world-class deposit with approximately 4 billion tonnes of reserves, while the second comprises over 250 million tonnes with planned annual production exceeding 12 million tonnes.
Scope of work included geological exploration and resource delineation (JORC-compliant), feasibility studies (scoping, pre-feasibility, and definitive feasibility), environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA), and permitting processes. The projects also involved the design and development of critical infrastructure, including mining facilities, transport corridors, and export logistics solutions.
Total investment volume exceeded $200 million, covering exploration, studies, infrastructure development, and project structuring.
Structured the investment framework, secured strategic partnerships, and led capital raising efforts. The projects were positioned for scalable, long-term production with efficient cost structures and access to international export markets.
